onWHARD is doing our part to lead efforts responding to the disparate and devastating impact of COVID-19 in our community.

With the generous support of staff and faculty from the UM OBGYN department, onWHARD is leading an effort to collect donations to purchase needed items and deliver them to communities that have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team has donated nonperishable food, personal hygiene items, menstrual hygiene products, adult incontinence supplies, diapers, and household cleaning supplies to organizations across Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint, and Pontiac.

We would like to recognize the support of our OBGYN department and the folks at local community organizations (including Corner Health Clinic, the Hope Clinic, Peace Neighborhood Center, Delonis Center Shelter, Hamilton Community Health Network, Buenos Vecinos, the SOS Shelter, ACCESS, and Centro Multicultural La Familia) who have distributed donations to people who need them. Thank you for helping us make a difference!

Our COVID-19 donation efforts are ongoing! If you are interested in making a monetary donation or donating items, please contact Arthi Ramakrishnan.
